Our Story
The famous Gilnas pub has been nestled in the beautiful seaside area of Layown for 46 years. It is very much established and exceptionally popular with locals and tourists alike.
The venue itself possesses a genuine, natural charm, offering a true welcome as you cross the door. Comprising of a bar, lounge, function area, with beer garden facilities both at the front and the rear, Gilnas of Laytown truly has something to offer everyone.
Not only are two-legged customers welcome, four-legged friends are also regulars at Gilnas, often seen enjoying a drink of water and a dog treat, after a beach walk, as their owner also enjoys a beverage or a snack.
